There are 2 possible causes for this error message: 


  1. The Software version in your head unit is older than the Map version on the SD card/USB drive. If this is your first time inserting the SD card/USB drive, you may ignore the message and click "OK" to continue the update or go to the System Info page and press “Update”.
  2. The Software version on your SD card/USB driver is not the same version that is on the head unit. If you downloaded the map update, please try to redownload* the correct update using the search by SW ver. 


*Please first delete all folders & files from your previous download to avoid any confusion later.
